Yoga Nidra

Join Amanda for a night of deep relaxation and a journey into the subconscious mind. Using the powers of Yoga Nidra, and the sense of calming meditation that it provides, you will find yourself immersed into a peace-filled tranquil space. Amanda will guide you throughout the entire process, all you need to do is remain comfortable, aware and breathe.

Yoga Nidra is a form of yoga that allows you to enter the hypnagogic state of the mind. Through breathwork, body scans, visualization techniques, and other forms of guided meditation your whole body and brain will become relaxed and fully suspended. This practice is for everyone, from beginner to advanced yogis. There is no better time than now to take this journey within and start the process of healing yourself by yourself.

Please bring with you anything that will allow you to remain comfortable and still, laying on the floor for an extended period. Amanda recommends a yoga mat or blanket to lay upon, another blanket to place on the legs or body, even socks, and possibly a pillow or bolster. Whatever you need to sink deep into the space.

Amanda Tranghese is a mother of two, a 200hr trained Yoga Instructor, certified Yoga Nidra Instructor, currently obtaining her Trauma Informed Yoga Certification, and a proud member of the LGBTQ+ community. She has deepened her knowledge of yoga and meditation by visiting and staying at ashrams and at a Buddhist Monastery. When she isn't teaching or practicing yoga you can find her at the beach, cooking, dying her hair, or floating in a sensory deprivation tank.
